I'm a licensed psychotherapist, with a PhD in Psychology and more than 15 years of training and experience helping people resolve conflicts, alleviate suffering, develop self-esteem, achieve goals, have healthy relationships and improve their quality of life. I work from an integrative and versatile approach, designing each treatment according to the needs and objectives of the consultant. Gaduada en Psicología por la Universidad Blanquerna Ramon Llull, con un Máster en Psicología Clínica y Medicina del Comportamiento 
(UAB) y un Máster en Psicología General Sanitaria (UB).  Me he especializado en Depresión, Ansiedad y Adicciones.

Me he formado desde una corriente Cognitivo-Conductual, pero en mi práctica utilizo una metodología integrativa que incluye:
- sistemas afectivos (cómo me siento)
- sistemas cognitivos (qué pienso)
- sistemas conductuales (cómo actúo)
- sistemas fisiológicos (cómo responde mi cuerpo) de cada persona y su contexto. 

Trabajo desde una posición transparente, natural y de confianza. Para mi es imprescindible que te sientas cómoda/a y que expreses todo lo
que sea necesario. Quiero que nuestra terapia sea un esfuerzo en equipo, trabajando juntos desde la flexibilidad. 
No se trata de seguir un orden estricto o alcanzar metas en un corto período, lo cual sería ideal para todos. 
Recuerda que es un proceso lento, y permitirte ese tiempo es esencial. Implica conectar, sentir y conocerte, e ir avanzando.

Katia is a young adventurous psychologist and entrepreneur, and since she was young she always had an interest in the human mind and emotions. When she was in her teenage years she really struggled, and depression arose when she was only 15 years old. She was able to overcome that difficult period, and a few years later began her bachelor's degree in psychology. She then specialized in Emotional Management and later began her spiritual journey and she became a Mindfulness Based Instructor. On her path, she majored in Educational and Clinical Neuropsychology which gave her a hard scientific background and understanding of the brain and behavior, but she never lost her tenderness approach with her patients. She then got a degree in Commitment and Acceptance Therapy amalgamating all previous studies into the highest therapeutic approach.
