My name is Chryssa and I am a licensed Psychologist from greek university A.U.TH. with Master Studies in Social Work from UNI.C. of Cyprus and Specialisation in Counseling and School Psychology. My experience is focused in job-career counseling, in multicultural populations and in individual, couples and family psychological support and enpowerment.

Currently working as I independent Psychologist in Glyfada and as collaborator Psychologist at MAZI MEDICAL CLINIC in Brussels, Belgium (rue Beillard 20) 
I am offering psychological counselling sessions for adults, teenagers, athletes, dancers, military personnel and also for caregivers of people with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
I completed my internship at an organization in Poland (PSONI) where I worked in a school with people with special needs and neuropsychological deficits, so I know the importance of mental support for these people and their families. I also hold a certificate in sports psychology (psychological intervention techniques) from Barcelona’s official team – Barca Innovation Hub Universitas – and an official certificate in the fundamentals of pharmacology from Harvard Medical School (HMX). The psychological approach I work with is CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy. I obtained my certification from the Kapodistrian University of Athens. I have also introduced a scientific method combining yoga postures and classical music to help people with dementia and Alzheimer’s by improving their sensorimotor skills while enabling them to access the physical exercise they need.
I also make home visits to offer certain sessions yoga therapy sensorimotor sessions. All the sessions can be contacted in French/English/Greek/Italian.

EIRINI TYROPLAKI

I was born in Oxford, England and grew up in Athens, Greece. I am bi-cultural and bilingual. I attended an international school where from a young age, I was exposed to a plethora of cultures and am therefore able to appreciate the importance of culture in my line of work. I have been a registered psychologist since 2013. I was awarded my Bsc Psychology/Sociology from the University of Surrey, Roehampton in London. Following that, I completed my postgraduate degree in Health Psychology at the University of Stirling in Scotland. Currently, I am undergoing training as a systemic psychotherapist at Logo Psychis- the Training and Research Institute for Systemic Psychotherapy.  I am being trained in the S.A.N.E. (System, Attachment, Narrative, Encephalon) model, pioneered by its founding members and am bound by the Institute’s code of ethical conduct. 
Furthermore, I am a certified Hatha, Vinyasa, Aerial and Yin yoga teacher and I use an assortment of techniques from these kinds of yoga when dealing with symptoms caused by anxiety, depression, panic attacks and PTSD. I also use them to help build self-confidence and self-trust. 
I have attended numerous seminars and have worked for the Council of Glyfada as well as in various shelters that house vulnerable populations.
