I started my career as a Dietitian as I believed from an early age that Prevention is Better than Cure. I have found lasting good health by learning to eat well and live an active lifestyle.

I transitioned from working on client's physical health and needs to focusing on their Mental Health by entering the wonderfully rewarding and challenging work as a counsellor. I believe that the body and mind are linked and if the mind is not in a good space the body will be adversely affected. I work to bring both mind and body into alignment so my clients can achieve their optimum health.

I have a Bachelor of Science ( University of Sydney), Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics ( Sydney University), Diploma of Counselling and Graduate Diploma of Social Sciences ( Couples Counselling- Swinburne University). Currently doing Masters in Counselling ( Edith Cowan).

I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AASW) with 13 years' post-graduate experience working in primary health care and both government and private mental health sectors, specialising in critical incident support. I am currently working in my own private practice HMCounselling and I am an Approved Counsellor for Victims of Crime NSW.

I am skilled in provision of therapy using Focused Psychological Strategies (both on-site and via Telehealth), EAP, delivery of group psychoeducation, coping with grief, prevention of workplace burnout, critical incident response (trauma) and managing change. Importantly I am also skilled in suicide risk assessment and prevention.

I am passionate about providing caring and non-judgement mental health support for clients.
