Joseph Assal

Joseph is a licensed clinical psychologist with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and Adjustment. He has extensive experience providing psychosocial and psychological support and counseling. Registered with the Ministry of Public Health in Lebanon, he is currently pursuing advanced certification in Transference-Focused Psychotherapy (Psychodynamic Psychotherapy) and holds additional certifications in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Thought Field Therapy, and Coaching in addition to his attendance in open seminars of Psychoanalysis. He has received training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Resilience, Leadership, and Transforming Communication from international institutes. His professional experience includes working with clients presenting behavioral and cognitive difficulties, anxiety, depression, identity issues, career orientation, bipolar disorder, avoidant personality disorder, PTSD, and OCD. With a proven track record in delivering psychological first aid, individual and group counseling, and training in high-pressure environments, he is committed to enhancing mental health and well-being through evidence-based interventions and compassionate care.
