I am a consultant psychiatrist in Kathmandu (MD Psychiatry, AFMC Pune; Nepal Medical Council No. 9988) and a Level 3 certified TEAM-CBT therapist. I help adolescents from 13, adults, couples and families with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, OCD, trauma and PTSD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, sleep problems, stress and alcohol or drug use. The first session is a full assessment, then we agree a plan: therapy, medicine or both. I use TEAM-CBT, a structured therapy that measures how you feel at every session, so we can see if things are improving. Sessions are online or in person, in Nepali, English or Hindi, and I often work with Nepalis abroad, at times that suit their hours.
