I work as a psychologist, as well as psychotherapeutically, in a private practice in Plovdiv. In my work, I follow the theoretical and practical ideas of Lacanian psychoanalysis - this is the psychotherapeutic method which, in my opinion, most thoroughly explores the human psyche and focuses not only on eliminating a symptom, but also on unraveling its causes. I believe psychotherapy should be a process of personal development and lead to long-lasting self-awareness and knowledge. The therapeutic process is tailored to the client/patient's individual pace and needs. My space is open for people with any kinds of requests - anxiety, depressive periods, relationship difficulties, family issues, low self-esteem and others. I believe that if a psychotherapist can work with one type of issue, they should be able to work with all types of issues as they stem from the same human nature. Consultations and psychotherapeutic sessions are conducted mainly through open conversations - you can share what you feel is important and relevant for the time being and I would ask some clarifying questions to which you choose whether to answer. After that, we can discuss the possible ways to work on your request. I'm also passionate about a variety of projects, ideas and causes: raising awareness in Bulgaria about the possibilities for psychological help, changing people's attitude and their willingness to face the stigma and talk about their experiences.
