Rita Couxão

As a Clinical Psychologist, I have a degree in Psychology and a master's degree in Forensic Psychology from the Lusófona University of Humanities and Technologies, since 2021. My goal is to help people achieve a healthy, balanced, and meaningful life. Throughout my professional experience, I have worked with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, relationships, self-esteem, personal development, and addictions. I use a therapeutic approach, focusing on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. I will adapt the techniques used according to each patient's needs and preferences. I believe in a personalized approach, adapting my techniques and methods to the individual needs of each client. I aim to provide a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment so that they can explore their challenges and work towards personal growth. I will work together with each patient to identify and overcome obstacles, develop healthy coping skills and achieve a greater understanding of themselves. I believe in the importance of a collaborative partnership between client and therapist. I value confidentiality, professional ethics, and mutual respect in all interactions.
