Nikitha Fernandez

 I am a talented and experienced Psychologist in youth, adolescent, adult, group and family therapy. Now I am interested in working in an institution, where I can continue to provide the highest quality care and treatment, as I have throughout my career. I am adapt at assessment, intervention, treatment, counselling and therapy. I have worked in wide variety of settings including hospitals, clinics, groups, organisations and schools and I have acquired extensive experience in crisis and emergency situations.


 My background includes counselling in cases of substance abuse, suicidal attempts, violent crimes, parental abuse. I am familiar with dysfunctional family issues, sexual harassments, learning disabilities, child development( Autism, ADHD, ADD, ODD, MR), anxiety, stress, phobias and depression. Have experience in using psychometric tests. And different therapies includes CBT, DBT, ACT,Art therapies, Psychoanalysis, Humanistic and Holistic approach.Also have a great knowledge of collaborating with Psychiatry, Neurology and Internal medicine practitioners.


 I was post graduated from Middlesex University London, which extended my carrier knowledge. And acquired prestigious Member of British Psychology Society(MBPsS) reg no.484902.


 My skill-set and industry expertise are comprehensive and up-to-date. I make it my top priority to see that my practice is done well and efficiently. My career has also seen its share of achievements; while working as a Psychologist for 6.9 years at Soft Minds, Lakshmi Hospital, India.


I am also a Ph.D Scholoar Shobit University, Meerut India in Clinical Psychology. 


Currently I am working as a Clinical Psychologist in WELKINS MEDICAL CENTER, Qatar as a Clinical Psychologist.
