About

Hello, My name is Lioliosidou Ioanna and my first degree is "Kindergarten Teacher". I have graduated from the University of Alexandroupolis, from the Preschool Education department. During my studies I came to the conclusion that what really interests me is to be able to understand and explore the deeper world of both children and adults and to be able to offer them the possibility to develop as human beings, discovering the best version of themselves. So I decided to study psychology and now I have my second degree as a psychologist from New Bulgarian University, Sofia. In addition, I decided to further develop my knowledge by starting my master's degree as Clinical - Social Psychologist & Counselor with the title Psycho - social Interventions with children and families. It mainly focuses on the systemic approach as well as the psychodynamic approach. I believe that holistic interventions for children and families can better understand the problem and process it based on a lot of data by making the necessary diagnoses and assessments. Some basic things you should know about me is that I have worked and have experience with children having worked both in kindergartens and creative centers as a task manager, but also as a freelancer. I have been in charge of handling the monthly programs for the kindergarten, their activities and planning, as of course I have also handled larger projects by coordinating all the staff. Also, I am a professor in the infant department of D.I.E.K. I evaluate and teach the practical training course. I am organized and typical with my obligations so that an activity or an action runs smoothly and I achieve the goals that have been set. As a freelancer I have worked in (private) homes undertaking the study of children with typical and atypical development (children with dyslexia, autism, etc.). I have also worked as a tutor and parallel support for younger or older children (typical and no typical education) to spend creative (educational) time together and fulfill their obligations for school. The aim is for children to learn new things during the activities (such as empathy, self-respect, drama, hygiene etc. - depending on their age) but to be able to have fun and leave happy having filled their minds with new. things and also having acquired new provisions for life. Regarding my second degree, my most recent work is in N.G.O. organization of ELEPAP, where I carry out my internship on the systemic approach, making interventions in families and children as well as evaluations. I have also worked in an orphanage and also in a prevention center that has a wide range of activities. In general, I like to listen and encourage people to find the best version of themselves by finding the right way to guide them to find the solution for their existing problem. I want them to love themselves with their pros and cons. In the orphanage I handled younger children but they had a lot of emotional and behavioral problems due to abandonment and needed patience and perseverance, to be able to find themselves and accept many things such as family loss, rejection, self-acceptance, discovery of their interests, avoiding drugs and accepting themselves, working through and resolving domestic abuse issues and making an effort to understand their inner "Self" etc. There were also people with dysfunctions and outbursts of anger, so these people wanted special care. I believe above all that it is important to listen to them, to understand what others are telling you and with the appropriate knowledge to try to help them. I think it is very useful for children as well as adults to work with experiential learning. Experiential learning in terms of psychology, I refer to psychodrama techniques, Play therapy , Art therapy that have been used extensively in younger children and some even in older children and adults. Theater is a form of expression and through psychodrama everyone can express what they feel without being ashamed. The same through play, painting and art. In addition, at the prevention and addiction center (OKANA) where I did my internship, I dealt with drug addicts who came for counseling and provided information on health, self-confidence, empathy, self-esteem, bullying, domestic violence. Properly listening and recording the important points that brought them to this situation helped to properly analyze their problems, give advice and guide them to find themselves or reduce the abuse. However, schools, kindergartens and high schools were also informed about the above issues. It was a different approach to the above issues through activities suitable for each age (4 to 19 years old), but also counseling parents on various topics such as drugs, adolescence, dealing with an illness, bullying issues , self-confidence, etc. Proper counseling and support for parents is very important so that they can manage difficult situations as best as possible. Also, informing and organizing activities in schools on current issues is equally important because the best way to avoid bad situations is to prevent them. Finally, regarding my second degree, what I consider very important to mention is the preparation of my thesis that took place at the Second Chance School in the Diavata Prisons of Thessaloniki. I wanted to combine both the education component (related to my first degree) and the psychology part because I believe they are two fields that are inextricably linked. Thus, the topic of my thesis is about the self-esteem, anxiety and academic motivation of prisoners and how these interact and affect the educational development (educational motivation) of prisoners. The psychological state (self-esteem, anxiety) is something very important and can influence many decisions of a person. However, equally important is the level of education, the academic motivations that someone may have. A person with a poor academic horizon is difficult to start an educational process, especially if it interacts with low self-esteem and high anxiety that a person may have. Analyzing issues and finding new information about our society is something I am interested in both in social issues as well as in livelihood, & educational, etc issues. I am a responsible person, I learn quickly, I am organized and I have a will to learn new things and I give one hundred percent of myself to what I do. I take responsibility and want careful work to be done and people to be able to see the positive side of themselves to have good well-being and find ways to work on it on a daily basis. I would love to join your team and learn even more as well as show you my own abilities and my own dynamics. I believe that I have knowledge and new material to offer, especially in the area of children, since mainly what I believe sets me apart is my love for my work and my need for continuous training in order to always resolve any situation in the best possible way. In an organized environment with love and will to work great things can be achieved. So I would like to offer my side as much knowledge as I can and work with your staff, learning new and enjoyable characters. As I said, I am responsible, cooperative and I have a desire for continuous education. I am a happy person and serious where necessary, talkative, I listen and improve what is needed to be able to do the job 100%. It is an opportunity for me to show my abilities and skills and to be able to work in the profession that I really love by combining my two degrees. With respect, Joanna
