Eunice Seixas

I am a Portuguese licensed psychologist (professional card no. 3699), with a degree (‘licenciatura’) in Health Psychology from the FPCE of the University of Porto (1991-1996), a Master in Social Psychology from the same institution (2002-2004) and a PhD in Sociology with specialization in 'Post-Colonialisms and Global Citizenship' (2006-2013) – all pre-Bologna degrees. I am a specialist in Clinical and Health Psychology and in Social and Organizational Psychology. I provide clinical psychology services to young people, adults and older adults on relationship issues, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, victim support, work related issues, burnout, gender issues, mourning, coping with life changes, coping with disease; coping with discrimination and migration. I have specialized training in Integrated Dynamic Psychotherapy and Person-Centered Psychotherapy. I also have professional training on “Provision of Psychology Services Mediated by Information and Communication Technologies (ICT)”; "Psychological Intervention in Problems Related to Alcohol”; "Psychological Intervention with Older Adults";"Psychological Intervention with LGBTQ persons", "Psychological Intervention with Refugees and Asylum Seekers";“Psychological Intervention in Disaster Situations”, or “The role of psychologists in palliative care” and “Evaluate, Diagnose and Intervene - For an Evidence-Based Practice”, among other topics within clinical and health psychology. I am certified as a Victim Support Technician (TAV) by CRIAP.
