I am a psychologist and expressive arts therapist with experience in providing individual and group therapy using trauma informed, client centered, and integrative therapeutic approaches. I am also working as a regional coordinator for Europe with International Expressive Art Therapy Association (IEATA). My work primarily focuses on supporting clients through emotional difficulties, stress, anxiety, grief, self-esteem concerns, interpersonal challenges, identity exploration, and emotional regulation. I have done my PhD in Psychology with primary focus on intermodal approach by developing a self-help guide for managing psychological distress in women diagnosed with PCOS. Im certified in Expressive arts, digital arts & media from European Graduate School, Switzerland and also completed Creative Dance Movement Therapy- Level I from UNESCO-CID. I use a holistic and culturally sensitive approach to therapy, integrating psychotherapy with expressive arts modalities such as drawing, movement, creative writing, storytelling, journaling, and reflective art practices to help clients process emotions, develop insight, and build resilience. My therapeutic work emphasizes creating a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their experiences authentically and at their own pace. As the founder and expressive arts therapist at Therapy Palette, I conduct therapy sessions for adolescents, young adults, and adults, while also designing therapeutic interventions and psycho-educational workshops. I have experience facilitating both online and offline sessions, incorporating evidence-based and creative techniques tailored to the unique needs of each individual. Alongside therapy practice, I also engage in case discussions, supervision-based learning, reflective practices, and therapeutic resource development. My work is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and ethical mental health care, with a strong interest in integrating creative and experiential approaches within psychotherapy. I am passionate about making therapy more accessible, expressive, and emotionally engaging, while supporting clients in developing self-awareness, emotional wellbeing, coping skills, and personal growth.
