I currently work as a specialist Cognitive Behavioural Therapist in a secondary care in an Early Intervention service for individuals experiencing first episode Psychosis. I provide specialist psychological assessment and therapy with individuals, families, and groups, consulting with families, team colleagues and non professional carers about psychological models and ideas, and working within the overall framework of the team’s policies and procedures. Whilst training on the High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Interventions Course I developed my skills in High intensity work through a stepped care model. I was given a deeper understanding of a number of Anxiety, Depression and Phobia disorders and learnt how to assess clients and deliver interventions through different models
