Nick Spinks

I'm a UKCP-registered Psychotherapist with over 15 years' experience working with adults experiencing emotional and relational difficulties. My background includes senior clinical roles within NHS mental health services, working with people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties and longstanding emotional distress. My approach is thoughtful and collaborative, drawing on psychoanalytic psychotherapy and Mentalization-Based Treatment (MBT). I offer both focused, shorter-term work and longer-term psychotherapy, depending on individual needs. I also have a particular interest and expertise in working with gay, bisexual and queer men, including difficulties relating to identity, sexuality and self-worth.
