As a licensed mental health counselor, I work with first-generation individuals, who hold it together for their family, while quietly fighting people-pleasing and guilt that follow them into every other relationship. I know how jarring it is to find help that doesn’t need you to over-explain everything in context. I use a relational and systemic approach to help you look at how family, culture, and society impacts you from the inside out, allowing us to address the root causes of your struggles, not just the symptoms. We will use somatic and parts work to find trust in your mind and body, connect with others better, and set boundaries without guilt or resentment. I use compassion, collaboration, humor, and intuition to challenge client’s stuck points and encourage change.
