Camilla Havenga

I'm a registered social worker (SACSSP, since 2022) with experience in inpatient psychiatric care, school-based counselling, child protection and substance use rehabilitation. Most recently I was the sole social worker at a multidisciplinary practice in a private psychiatric hospital. There I provided individual, family and group therapy for children, adolescents and adults, along with discharge planning and multidisciplinary team work. Before that I spent two years as a school-based care practitioner, doing learner counselling, crisis intervention and parent workshops. I'm trained in Gestalt play therapy (Levels 1 and 2) and am completing a Master of Social Work (Clinical) at UCT. I'm bilingual in Afrikaans and English.
