About

I specialise in difficulties that are felt in the body as much as the mind, including anxiety, persistent stress responses and the effects of trauma on intimacy, identity and feeling safe in yourself. Drawing particularly on Somatic Experiencing and existential psychotherapy, I work with thoughts and emotions alongside physical experiences such as tension, agitation, numbness or feeling on edge. Therapy can also explore relationships, identity, choice, loss, uncertainty, meaning and how you want to live. I have over 13 years’ clinical experience, including several years in sexual health services working with sexual wellbeing, childhood sexual abuse, sexuality, identity and sex after trauma. I offer an affirmative space for people of all sexualities and genders.
