Petra Škabar

Having successfully completed my studies in CBT counseling in Slovenia, Europe, where I achieved a remarkable 9.2 GPA (out of 10) I bring a solid foundation in individual therapy, supervision, and institutional work specialized in CBT with adolescents and young adults. Throughout my academic journey, I focused extensively on the CBT paradigm, honing my skills in addressing depression, PTSD, and trauma in both adults and adolescents. Over the past two years, I have cultivated hands-on experience through my private practice in Slovenia, serving over 15 clients and accumulating more than 200 hours of CBT counseling. In pursuit of continuous professional growth, I have recently enrolled in an international PhD program in Psychosocial Studies. This program will further enrich my knowledge and expertise as I strive to become a psychotherapist dedicated to making a meaningful impact. With the next semester i will also start teaching at my college in Slovenia.
