I believe my strengths as an aspiring psychologist lie in my ability to build rapport with children and families through empathy, patience, and active listening. I am capable of conducting behavioural observations, taking detailed case histories, and understanding children’s developmental, emotional, cognitive, and behavioural needs. I have foundational knowledge of psychological assessments such as IQ, developmental, autism, and ADHD assessments, and I understand the importance of selecting appropriate tools based on the child’s presenting concerns. I can contribute to behaviour modification programs, psychoeducation, parent counselling, social skills training, and emotional support while working collaboratively with occupational therapists, speech therapists, special educators, and other
