Susmita Baral

I am a Clinical Psychologist and Registered Nurse with a strong passion for mental health, psychosocial care, research, and education. My professional journey has allowed me to work in hospitals, universities, national NGOs, and international research collaborations, where I have supported vulnerable populations including survivors of gender-based violence, trafficking, and individuals experiencing psychological distress. My expertise includes psychological counseling, evidence-based therapeutic interventions, psychosocial program management, mental health training, clinical supervision, research coordination, and academic teaching. I have also contributed to international research projects through qualitative interviews, data collection, translation of research materials, and reporting.
