Susan Jacques

Editor: Dr Susan Jacques CPsychol, DPsych, MSc, PGDip, BA, is a Chartered (BPS) and Registered Counselling Psychologist. Besides her doctoral training she has completed several post graduate courses with a psychodynamic framework and more recently in Transactional Analysis. She runs an independent psychology practice and has experience of working in a variety of specialist services in the NHS, including working in CAMHS, long term-pain clinics and obesity services. Her specialist areas include working with disability and depression, and she has an interest in the impact of long-term health problems on mental health. She is the editor of several articles and most recently edited a book on: psychologists’ lived experiences of disability:navigating clinical practice.
