As an LPC Candidate Counselor, I strive to create unconditional positive regard, compassionate, non-judgemental therapeutic relationship where the client feels connected, respected, and heard. I primarily utilize therapeutic worksheets, workbooks, and talk therapy to accomplish agreed upon therapeutic goals. The modalities I utlize the most are CBT, ACT, Narrative Therapy, and Person Centered Therapy, as well as DBT. As a 56 year old counselor I bring a lifetime of lived experience along with skilled interventions.
