Ahmed Abdoul Aziz Maiga

Psychosocial support and protection professional specializing in the care of vulnerable populations and survivors of Gender-Based Violence (GBV), with strong experience in case management, active listening, and psychosocial interventions in humanitarian settings. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, I have been working with the Malian Red Cross and the Spanish Red Cross, implementing psychosocial support activities, case referral systems, community awareness sessions, and capacity building for local actors. I have developed strong competencies in Psychological First Aid (PFA), group facilitation, basic counseling, multisectoral coordination, and protection of vulnerable populations. My approach is centered on empathy, dignity, confidentiality, and respect for humanitarian principles. Committed to promoting community mental health, gender equality, and protection, I aim to continue contributing to humanitarian programs where psychosocial well-being and resilience of affected populations are at the core of interventions.
