Tisha khimani

I am a psychologist and workshop facilitator with a Master's in Clinical Psychology from JSS Hospital, Mysuru (CGPA: 8.9), bringing a blend of clinical depth and hands-on training experience. My background spans hospital settings, corporate environments, and community outreach, allowing me to take a truly multidisciplinary approach to mental health and human development. Clinically, I have worked as a Supervised Psychologist at JSS Hospital, gaining experience in psychological assessment, crisis intervention, trauma counselling, in-patient care, and treatment planning. I have also completed specialised training in end-of-life care, smoking cessation, and trauma and suicide prevention, equipping me to support individuals through complex and sensitive challenges. Beyond the clinic, I have facilitated over 20 workshops for school students, 7 for corporate clients, and 5 art therapy workshops across Mumbai. I have also conducted 10+ community workshops for JITO's female wing across Karnataka, which reflects my commitment to grassroots mental health awareness and making psychological support accessible to diverse groups. Academically, I have contributed a published book chapter, received a Best Poster Award at a national conference, and won a Best Paper Award at the University of Mysore, experiences that have sharpened both my research thinking and my ability to communicate complex ideas clearly. I am deeply passionate about making mental health support meaningful and empowering, whether in a one-on-one session, a workshop room, or a community setting.
