About

I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, identity-related challenges, perfectionism, and relational difficulties. My approach is grounded in psychodynamic psychotherapy and informed by attachment theory, while working integratively to meet each client’s unique needs. As a Dance Movement Psychotherapist, I place importance on the connection between mind, body, and nervous system. I work from a bottom-up perspective, recognising that experiences can often be held physically as well as emotionally and cognitively. Alongside verbal reflection, I may draw from expressive and creative therapeutic approaches to support clients when things feel difficult to access, process, or shift through words alone. My work is also informed by humanistic and relational principles, with an emphasis on creating a compassionate, collaborative, and non-judgmental therapeutic space. I aim to support clients in developing deeper self-understanding, emotional resilience, and more connected ways of relating to themselves and others.I bring an understanding of the emotional complexities that can emerge within high-pressure environments, periods of transition, questions of identity, and experiences of self-expectation, uncertainty, and change.
