Matt Nassour

• I am a Registered Psychotherapist with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Memorial University of Newfoundland. I bring strong competencies in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, clinical work, report writing, and data analysis. • My research foundation is complemented by clinical experience as a Behavioral Therapist and now as a practicing psychotherapist. I apply evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and humanistic interventions, in supporting clients across diverse backgrounds. • I have completed comprehensive graduate coursework in counselling theory, therapeutic modalities, ethics, and practice, along with training in multicultural counselling, human development, and research methods. • I am committed to a culturally sensitive and inclusive therapeutic environment. I prioritize cultural safety in my work and intentionally integrate cultural and contextual factors into my clinical practice. • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaborative platforms such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Jane App, and Google Calendar, which allows for efficient and organized remote and in-person practice.
