About

Do you find yourself repeating patterns in relationships, feeling overwhelmed, or struggling to make sense of your emotions? Therapy can offer a space to pause, reflect, and begin to understand what may be happening beneath the surface. I am a qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist working with adults, with over five years’ experience in the NHS. I am registered with the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and the British Psychotherapy Foundation (BPF), and trained at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust. I offer a thoughtful, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and relationships at your own pace. My approach is grounded in psychodynamic psychotherapy, with a particular interest in attachment and early relationships. Together, we may explore how past experiences and unconscious patterns continue to shape your present, and work towards a deeper understanding and lasting change. I have experience supporting adults with a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relational difficulties, and the impact of trauma. I work in a trauma-informed way, with an emphasis on creating a sense of safety, trust, and collaboration within the therapeutic relationship. I understand that starting therapy can feel daunting. Whether you are coming with a specific issue or a more general sense that something doesn’t feel right, I aim to offer a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. People come to therapy for many different reasons. Sometimes there is a clear difficulty, such as anxiety, low mood, or challenges in relationships. At other times, there may be a more general sense that something isn’t quite right—that life feels out of balance, even if it’s hard to put into words. You might feel stuck, dissatisfied in your work or relationships, disconnected from others, or finding it difficult to make or sustain changes in your life. I offer weekly or bi-weekly sessions, either in person or online, as well as a hybrid approach. I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds. If you are considering therapy, you are welcome to get in touch for an initial conversation to see whether working together feels like a good fit.
