About

I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Psychology and possess academic as well as practical training in counseling, psychological assessment, therapeutic communication, and mental health support. My clinical exposure through internships and peer support counseling programs has provided me with hands-on experience in working with individuals facing emotional, behavioral, academic, and interpersonal challenges. During my peer support internship, I provided supportive counseling to students dealing with academic stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship concerns, family conflicts, emotional distress, and adjustment difficulties. I worked closely with individuals to help them express their concerns openly, gain emotional clarity, develop healthier coping mechanisms, and improve overall psychological wellbeing. These experiences strengthened my skills in rapport building, empathetic listening, emotional validation, crisis sensitivity, and maintaining professional ethics and confidentiality in therapeutic settings. My therapeutic approach is empathetic, client-centered, non-judgmental, and evidence-informed. I strongly believe in creating a safe, respectful, and emotionally secure environment where individuals feel heard, understood, and supported without fear of criticism or stigma. I aim to help clients build resilience, emotional awareness, self-confidence, and healthier ways of managing life’s personal, academic, and emotional challenges. I am fluent in English, Hindi, Odia, Bengali, and Assamese, which enables me to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. I am deeply passionate about mental health advocacy and committed to continuous professional development, ethical clinical practice, and providing compassionate psychological care that positively impacts people’s lives.
