Hi, I'm Maggie (she, her, hers) I'm a friendly, compassionate, intuitive and grounded therapist. I'm a registered MA Dramatherapist in the UK, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Association of Dramatherapists (BADTH). I abide to these codes of practice. I believe healing & change can happen within a therapy space that holds safety, creativity & trust. Would you like to create positive change? I offer Creative art therapy Psychotherapy - Dramatherapy sessions. My sessions are collaborative; neurodiversity - diagnosed and undiagnosed) & LGBTQIA+ affirming. My work is evidence-based, person-centered, trauma-informed and holistic. I work with each person's preferences, needs and values with dignity, compassion & respect. Sometimes, words can feel they simply are not enough. I offer a combination of verbal & evidence-based creative art therapy techniques which can include the use of art, images, movement, sound, music, dreams & stories (among other creative art mediums), depending on client's interests and preferences. Please contact me if you are interested in any of these sessions or if you would like this for a loved one. Sessions offer an inclusive, warm, playful, grounded, compassionate, trauma-informed & safe environment. I invite clients to have choice in the way we work together that feels comfortable & nourishing to support you to explore, express, release & find creative insight. My intention is to support you with tools for your life & emotional wellbeing. I have over twenty years experience supporting adults and young people as well as clients with neurodiversity or/and dis/abilities. My work is person-centered, evidence-based and holistic . I work with each person's preferences, needs and values with dignity, compassion & respect. Clients don't have to "be creative" or have creative skills or background to access sessions. The initial step may feel the most challenging, yet through collaborating together we can learn more about yourself & what may support you on your journey. Being an MA Creative Arts Psychotherapist-Dramatherapist means we can collaborate in a way that feels right and holistic for you - a space for you to explore express & safely make sense of your internal world.
