Lionel Eric Benjiman

I am a psychiatrist with a special interest in evidence-based psychological interventions. While my specialist training equips me to diagnose and manage a wide range of mental health conditions, my primary passion lies in psychotherapy—helping individuals understand themselves, overcome emotional difficulties, and achieve lasting change. I obtained my MD from UPM and completed my Doctor of Psychiatry (DrPsych) specialist training at UKM. During my training, I developed a strong foundation in CBT and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. Committed to lifelong learning, I have completed Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) Certification – Level A, Schema Therapy Level 1 and Level 2, and I am currently undertaking CBT certification through the Beck Institute.
