Delso De Cassio Batista Junior

I am Delso Batista, a dedicated psychologist and psychotherapist with over a decade of clinical experience. I hold a PhD in Psychology from Nottingham Trent University, alongside a Master's degree in Psychology, Psychotherapy, and Counselling. As a Registered Member of the BACP and a EuroPsy Psychologist, I specialise in ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, and LGBTQIA+ issues, employing an eclectic therapeutic approach tailored to each client’s unique needs. My practice emphasises cultural humility, reflexivity, and social justice, ensuring I create a safe space to explore complex identities and experiences. Currently, I provide online therapy to individuals and collaborate with community organisations, such as RUMO and Docklands Outreach, that focus on marginalised communities. Additionally, I actively contribute to wellbeing initiatives, such as the Taking Care of You programme, which addresses burnout and stress among professionals in the migration and refugee sector. My passion for integrating academic research and clinical practice is evident in my publications, including works that critically examine the intersections of psychology and social justice. My commitment lies in fostering liberation and well-being through decolonial and ethical practices in psychology.
