Cierra DoCouto

Hi, I’m Cierra DoCouto, a Registered Psychotherapist based in Burlington, Ontario, offering individual therapy both in-person and virtually across Ontario. I work with adults who are navigating anxiety, people-pleasing, relationship stress, self-esteem challenges, overthinking, and difficulty setting healthy boundaries. Many of the individuals I support feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in patterns that keep repeating, or exhausted from constantly prioritizing the needs of others. You may struggle with self-doubt, fear of disappointing people, difficulty saying no, or feeling disconnected from yourself in relationships. Therapy can offer a space to better understand these patterns and begin creating healthier ways of relating to yourself and others. My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and collaborative. I strive to create a supportive and non-judgmental environment where you can feel safe exploring your experiences at your own pace. Together, we may work on understanding anxiety, improving emotional regulation, building self-trust, strengthening communication, and developing healthier boundaries. I believe therapy is not about “fixing” who you are, but about helping you make sense of your experiences and reconnect with yourself with greater clarity and self-compassion. I offer free 20-minute consultations for individuals looking to explore whether therapy feels like a good fit. Sessions are available in Burlington and virtually across Ontario.
