Larysa Zarubenko

I am an integrative psychotherapist registered with UKCP and accredited with GPTI (UK), with an MSc in Psychology from Birkbeck, University of London. My practice draws on a 6-year Gestalt therapy training programme at (2014 – 2020), and I am also a trained Brainspotting practitioner. I work with adults experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, trauma, depression, low self-esteem, identity challenges, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. I also have a particular focus on psychosomatic symptoms, codependent relationship patterns, and supporting refugees, expats, and those navigating relocation and cultural adjustment. My approach is integrative, combining Gestalt therapy, Brainspotting, body-oriented methods, and creative and somatic techniques. I work not only through conversation, but also with deeper emotional and bodily processes, particularly when experiences are difficult to put into words. I have a strong interest in trauma and the ways it continues to shape how we feel, relate, and respond. Before training as a psychotherapist, I worked in education and later in the IT industry, which gives me a genuine understanding of high-demand professional environments. I am comfortable working with clients from technical, international, and multicultural backgrounds. I offer sessions in English, Ukrainian, and Russian, both online and in person. I am committed to ongoing professional development through regular supervision and continuing training, ensuring my practice remains informed, ethical, and effective.
