Ananya Khandelwal

Ananya Khandelwal, Ed.M., MA, LMHC, is a licensed psychotherapist trained at Teachers College, Columbia University, with dual Master’s degrees in Counseling Psychology and Mental Health Counseling. She has over 3,000 hours of clinical experience across hospitals, clinics, private practice, and non-profit settings, working with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, mood disorders, life transitions, relationship challenges, and work-related stress. Ananya integrates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and has received specialized training in REBT from the Albert Ellis Institute. Her work is culturally sensitive, LGBTQ-friendly, and tailored to each client’s individual context and needs. She has a particular interest in supporting young adults, college students, and early-career professionals, especially those navigating identity, boundaries, burnout, and adjustment challenges. She also works with concerns related to body image, eating patterns, and substance use. Ananya offers therapy in both English and Hindi and adopts a strengths-based, collaborative approach.
