As an MSc Psychology graduate with a specialization in Clinical Psychology, my role as a therapist/psychologist focuses on providing structured, ethical, and evidence-based psychological support within my scope of training. I work primarily with children and adolescents, addressing concerns such as behavioral difficulties, emotional regulation issues, attention problems, and mild developmental challenges. My responsibilities include conducting basic psychological assessments through interviews, behavioral observations, and standardized screening tools under supervision where required. Based on these assessments, I assist in developing individualized intervention plans tailored to each client’s needs. I use therapeutic techniques such as behavior modification, basic cognitive-behavioral strategies, play-based interventions, and psychoeducation to support skill development and emotional well-being. I maintain a safe and supportive therapeutic environment that encourages clients to express themselves freely. For children, I actively involve parents and caregivers by providing guidance on behavior management strategies and ways to reinforce therapy goals at home. Collaboration with teachers or other professionals is also part of my role when necessary. Being mindful of professional boundaries, I do not engage in diagnosis or independent clinical practice that requires an RCI license. Instead, I work under supervision or within structured settings such as clinics, schools, or therapy centers. I adhere strictly to ethical guidelines, including confidentiality and informed consent. Overall, my role is to support clients in improving their functioning, building coping skills, and enhancing their quality of life while continuing to develop my professional competencies through training and supervised experience.
