Rogers Namwiyiri

I hold a master degree in counseling psychology and am now pursuing a PhD in psychology at Makerere University. I have served as a counseling psychologist for now 6 years at C-care International Hospital in Kampala, Uganda. Licensed member of APA, ICCC UK, and Uganda Counselling Association I am passionate about mental health, and I have touched a number of lives through psychotherapy, including those from the United States using tele-counseling. Many have testified to healing and referring other colleagues for support. I have trained in the use of cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, perinatal mental health, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing for trauma patients. I do addiction counseling, HIV counseling, couples therapy, and other major mental health disorders. I prioritize the mental health of my patients; sometimes I do referrals to other therapists and psychiatrists.
