About

I work with women and couples who need someone honest, grounded, and completely nonjudgmental in their corner. What I specialise in: - Relationship therapy, divorce and narcissistic abuse recovery - Life transitions: motherhood, menopause, identity, and reinvention - Adult ADHD in women - Couples and sex therapy - Somatic and integrative psychotherapy What makes my approach different: I'm a registered psychotherapist (BACP, SAC) with an MA in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy, published in peer-reviewed journals, and specialist-trained in narcissists, sex and couples therapy, ADHD, and somatic psychotherapy. But I also have over 20 years of working with women before I ever stepped into a therapy room and that real-world depth is what sets me apart. I founded YogaBellies® in 2008, trained 200+ specialist teachers, and supported 100,000+ women globally through pregnancy, motherhood, and menopause. I've written 14 books, appeared on BBC Dragons' Den and ITV This Morning, and won the Scottish Edge Award and Great British Entrepreneur Award. Those years taught me what clinical training alone can't: how women really talk when they feel safe. What shame sounds like. How the body holds what words can't say. And that true healing requires more than insight, it requires nervous system regulation, trauma awareness, and space for the whole woman to be seen. What I bring to every session is clinical rigour and lived, embodied understanding of what women go through.
