Fin Haley

I am a Clinical Psychologist with experience working across child and adolescent mental health services, including youth justice contexts. I specialise in the assessment and formulation of psychological difficulties in young people, with a particular focus on trauma, neurodevelopmental presentations, emotional regulation, and complex behavioural needs. My approach is integrative, drawing on evidence-based models including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), systemic approaches, and psychodynamic thinking. I place strong emphasis on psychological formulation to understand how an individual’s experiences, relationships, and environment contribute to their current difficulties, and to guide meaningful intervention. I aim to work collaboratively with individuals, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to promote psychological wellbeing, resilience, and adaptive functioning. My practice is grounded in a compassionate, person-centred stance, with an emphasis on developing strengths and supporting sustainable change.
