About

I am a committed and reflective Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years of experience working across NHS mental and physical health services. My clinical work has spanned a wide range of settings, including trauma services, neurodevelopmental pathways, older adult services, eating disorders, and child and adolescent mental health. These experiences have strengthened my ability to deliver evidence-based, compassionate psychological care across the lifespan, with a strong focus on improving wellbeing and supporting meaningful recovery. Through my doctoral training and previous roles, I have developed strong competencies in psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention. I work integratively, drawing on CBT, systemic, CFT, and attachment-informed approaches to tailor therapy to individual client needs. I have experience working with a range of presentations, including anxiety, depression, OCD, panic, trauma, CPTSD/PTSD, and emotional regulation difficulties, as well as supporting individuals with neurodevelopmental differences such as ADHD. My practice is grounded in trauma-informed and relational principles, and I am confident in adapting therapeutic approaches for diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I am experienced in delivering structured, goal-oriented interventions, developing personalised treatment plans, and monitoring client progress using outcome-informed approaches. I maintain accurate and confidential clinical records and adhere closely to ethical and professional standards of practice. I am also confident in delivering therapy via digital platforms and understand the importance of creating a safe, engaging, and effective therapeutic space online. Alongside individual therapy, I have experience supporting clients with complex and systemic needs, including relationship difficulties, family dynamics and workplace stress. I am committed to inclusive and affirmative practice, including working sensitively with LGBTQ+ clients and individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. In addition to my clinical work, I have contributed to service development, led service evaluations, and delivered teaching and training to multidisciplinary colleagues. My work has included initiatives to improve access to psychological services for underserved groups. I have also authored publications and presented at national and international conferences. My doctoral research explores the experience of supervision for newly qualified clinical psychologists, reflecting my interest in reflective practice, professional wellbeing, and maintaining high standards of clinical care. I bring warmth, curiosity, and a collaborative approach to my clinical work, and I am skilled in building strong therapeutic relationships in both face-to-face and remote settings. I am now seeking an opportunity to consolidate my skills as a qualified psychologist within a service that values accessibility, flexibility, and high-quality psychological care, and where I can contribute meaningfully to supporting a diverse range of clients through online therapy.
