I am a doctorate-level Counselling Psychologist (DPsych) with a specialist focus on working with individuals affected by childhood sexual abuse and complex trauma. Psychodynamic, systemic and CBT are part of my modalities that I practice in therapy.My clinical approach integrates evidence-based modalities with a strong emphasis on relational depth, attachment dynamics, and emotional processing. I have clinical experience working as an Counselling Psychologist within NHS inpatient and ward-based settings, where I supported individuals presenting with acute and complex mental health difficulties. This included working with clients experiencing severe depression, anxiety, trauma-related conditions, and high levels of emotional distress, often within high-risk and time-pressured environments. In these roles, I worked as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to care planning, risk assessment, and psychological formulation. I developed skills in managing crisis situations, conducting brief psychological interventions, and building therapeutic rapport in settings where clients may feel distressed, ambivalent, or mistrustful of services.
