Nada Fares

I am a licensed clinical psychologist and psychotherapist with over eight years of experience in the mental health field, working with children, adolescents, and adults across diverse cultural and clinical contexts. My professional journey spans both NGO settings and private clinical practice in Lebanon, where I have provided psychological assessment, consultation, and evidence-based therapy for a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and psychological difficulties. I have extensive experience conducting standardized assessments, including cognitive and psychoeducational evaluations, and delivering individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs. My academic background includes a PhD in Psychology from Beirut Arab University, a Master’s degree in Psychology from Lebanese University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in Lebanon, following early academic training in the United States. I am formally trained and certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychoanalysis, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), integrating these approaches to provide comprehensive and flexible care depending on the client’s presentation and goals. Throughout my career, I have worked as part of multidisciplinary teams alongside psychiatrists, social workers, and mental health professionals, contributing to holistic care and community-based mental health services. My work includes not only direct clinical practice but also consultation, psychoeducation, and program development. I am committed to delivering ethical, culturally sensitive, and client-centered care, with a particular interest in supporting children and adolescents, while maintaining a broad scope of practice across all age groups.
