Meenal Bachhawat

I am Meenal Bachhawat, a Trauma-Informed Counseling Psychologist, working in this field for 5+ years. My career has taken me through different journeys - starting from working with kids with special needs, to setting up Psychological services in a hospital setting, research, and then finally starting my own practice. Being a psychologist and an HSP (Highly Sensitive Person) myself, I have had the privilege of understanding a niche. This field has given me agency to be my authentic self, and I am working to make that safe space for other people, too. As a therapist, I value the importance of the 'presence' of a person and believe in the power of the mind-body connection.
