Bipasha Sharma

I’m Bipasha Sharma, a developmental and counselling psychologist, and I work with adults (upto 35 years), children, adolescents and parents across a wide range of emotional, developmental and adjustment concerns. I consider myself an ambivert and an empath, who genuinely feels with people and is curious about people’s inner worlds, their complexities and their resilience. My academic foundation includes an MA in Clinical Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology (RCI-accredited). I hold an RCI licence and I am currently pursuing my PhD in Psychology. Alongside clinical work, I have experience in developmental and psychological assessments and teaching (Ex-Visiting Faculty at Amity University). My work is grounded in respect, collaboration and acceptance. With adults and adolescents, I follow a person-centred and neurodiversity-affirming approach, where individual differences, identities and lived experiences are honoured rather than pathologised. My practice integrates approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), somatic-informed methods, mindfulness, psychodynamic work, which is tailored to the client’s needs. I focus on helping clients understand their emotional patterns, relationships, stress responses and inner conflicts in a way that feels empowering and compassionate. With children, I use a play-based and child-centric approach. Play becomes a natural medium for expression, emotional processing, communication and self-regulation. Therapy is designed around the child’s developmental level, interests and strengths. Across age groups, my work emphasises: - emotional safety and trust, - collaborative goal-setting, - practical strategies that can be used in daily life, and strong involvement of caregivers when working with children. I strongly believe that therapy works best when it is flexible and tailored to the person in front of me.
