I am a Mental Health Professionals that holds a variety of degrees in the field of psychology and guidance and counseling such as: Master of Science in Guidance and Counseling, Doctoral Degree in Education specialized in Psychology and Guidance, Licensed Professional Teacher, Stress Debriefer, Addiction Recovery Support Systems ,and Community Counseling. I am an active member with a good standing in the Philippine Guidance and Counseling Association, Inc., a certified Compassion Fatigue Practitioner and Educator, an international member of Green Cross Academy of Traumatology. Generally, my therapy approach includes a Cognitive Behavioral and Humanistic orientation to counseling; Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) in school settings, teaching life skills like self-management and relationship building; Play Therapy as a primary communication medium for children who cannot yet verbalize complex trauma or emotions; Mindfulness & Grounding Techniques like breathing exercises to help clients stay present and manage immediate stress or anxiety; Family Systems Therapy that views the family as an interconnected emotional unit rather than just a collection of individuals; and in my community works-Critical Incident Stress Management and Psychological First Aid.
