Gabriel Chagas

I am a psychologist with clinical experience since 2023, offering both in-person and online sessions for adolescents, young adults, and adults. My work is guided by an ethical, empathetic, and attentive approach, committed to understanding each individual’s unique history, context, and way of being. My practice is grounded in Analytical Psychology (Jungian approach), combined with LGBTQIA+ affirmative therapy. I draw on depth psychology to explore unconscious processes, symbolic meanings, and patterns that shape one’s emotional life, while also providing an affirming and supportive space for diverse gender identities and sexual orientations. I work with concerns such as anxiety, depression, family conflicts, relationships, self-esteem, identity, and issues related to gender and sexual diversity. I have a particular interest in non-monogamy, contemporary relationships, and mental health in contexts of vulnerability. My clients include LGBTQIA+ individuals, people in non-normative relationship structures, and those seeking self-knowledge and a deeper understanding of their emotional and existential experiences. I aim to create a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental environment, fostering reflection, emotional resilience, and the expansion of new possibilities for living. I believe psychotherapy is a collaborative and transformative process, grounded in care, ethics, and openness to meaningful change.
