My areas of special interest include relationship issues, self-esteem, identity, anxiety, burnout, and the emotional impact of long-term health conditions. I have worked with people from a wide range of backgrounds and bring a calm, grounded, and thoughtful approach to the work. I offer both short-term focused counselling and longer-term therapy, depending on your needs. My approach is based on building a strong and collaborative therapeutic relationship, where together we can identify and explore patterns of thought, feeling, and behaviour. The aim is to gain deeper insight and work towards more constructive and manageable ways of responding to life’s challenges. I am a highly skilled accredited psychotherapist and supervisor with over 10 years of experience in mental health and wellbeing, working across charity organisations, the NHS, private sector services, my own private practice. I also worked at the University of Cambridge, supporting both students and staff. I have supported adults of all ages from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate a wide range of life challenges and difficulties. I am trained to master’s level in psychotherapy and hold postgraduate diplomas in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (SFCBT) and PTSD management. As a registered accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I work to high professional and ethical standards.
