MR GEORGE BURTON

I’m a psychodynamic psychotherapist and counsellor with over four years’ experience across charity, private practice and multidisciplinary clinical settings. My work is relational and attachment-informed, with a focus on how early experiences shape adult relationships, emotional regulation and sense of self. I aim to offer a calm, thoughtful space where clients can begin to understand their patterns more deeply and make meaningful changes over time. Alongside this, I have experience supporting clients with a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, relational challenges, grief, addiction and emotional distress. I am comfortable working both in structured, time-limited settings and in longer-term therapeutic work, adapting my approach to meet each client’s needs. I have experience delivering therapy online and working with clients remotely, and I prioritise creating a sense of connection, safety and trust within the therapeutic relationship, even in a virtual setting.
