I am a provisional psychologist with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and over 15 years of experience supporting children, youth, adults, and families in educational and community settings. My clinical work focuses on supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relational challenges, stress, trauma, and life transitions. I am particularly interested in helping clients strengthen emotional awareness, build resilience, and improve their relationships with themselves and others. My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, attachment-based, and integrative, drawing from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed interventions. I strive to create a safe, collaborative, and culturally responsive therapeutic environment where clients feel respected, understood, and empowered in their growth. I have experience working with diverse populations, including youth, families, and individuals from varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. My work is guided by strong ethical practice, cultural humility, and a commitment to ongoing professional development. I value interdisciplinary collaboration and consultation and aim to provide services that are compassionate, evidence-informed, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I am particularly passionate about relational work, emotional processing, and supporting clients in developing insight, emotional regulation skills, and meaningful life changes. My practice is grounded in authenticity, empathy, and a belief in each person’s capacity for growth and healing.
