In my two years as a post-master’s counselor, I developed and implemented evidence-based practices in both individual and group settings, conducted comprehensive psychological evaluations, and maintained meticulous client records to support the therapeutic process. These experiences allowed me to build trust, foster emotional resilience, and provide person-centered care. I am deeply committed to helping others and recognize the importance of creating a supportive atmosphere that encourages open dialogue and understanding—values I see as essential to both clinical work and effective teaching. Prior to my clinical training, I spent several years as an educator in diverse international settings, including the Caribbean, the United States, China, and South Korea. These experiences sharpened my skills in critical analysis, cultural competence, and cross-cultural communication. My ability to navigate cultural and linguistic differences has been invaluable in building rapport with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, ensuring that those I work with feel understood and supported—whether in a classroom, a counseling session, or a university setting.
