Carolyne Mburu

I am Carolyne Mburu-Gerena, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and founder of Mind Garden Mental Health Services. I work with high-functioning adults who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, burnout, ADHD, or ongoing mood challenges, even when things appear successful on the outside. Many of my patients are professionals who are used to pushing through stress until they begin feeling exhausted, distracted, emotionally drained, or disconnected from the life they’ve worked hard to build. My approach combines evidence-based psychiatric care with a deeper look at the factors that influence mental health, including sleep, stress, hormones, lifestyle, and life experiences. Together, we develop a personalized treatment plan focused on both symptom relief and long-term well-being. Patients often describe my style as warm, thoughtful, and collaborative. My goal is to help you regain clarity, emotional balance, and the confidence to move forward.
