Yuci Chen

I am a HCPC-registered Art Psychotherapist and trainee Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years of experience working across CAMHS, community mental health, and psychologically informed multidisciplinary services. Over the course of my career, I have developed strong skills in psychological assessment, formulation, intervention, supervision, leadership, and service development. I have particular expertise in working with children, young people, adults, families, and complex systems, and I am confident in integrating psychodynamic, CBT-informed, systemic, and trauma-informed perspectives into my practice. My clinical experience includes supporting individuals presenting with a wide range of mental health and neurodevelopmental difficulties, including anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioural challenges, attachment-related difficulties, low self-esteem, ADHD, ASD, chronic fatigue-related psychological distress, and complex relational or family difficulties. I am experienced in adapting my therapeutic approach according to developmental stage, clinical need, and context, and in working sensitively with both adult and child presentations across diverse settings.
